Lol what are color schemes?

So I'm trying to use this site for the thousandth time now. I decided to pick out a new journal theme and change the colors around, and WOW I don't know what I'm doing.

Sorry for the ugly journal color scheme. :S Until I feel like being serious about it, it'll have to stay.
